Claim to fame

Implementing an AI Copilot for employees

Linh Lam spearheaded the integration of an AI copilot, fondly named as Caspernicus, into Jamf’s Slack environment. This AI assistant provides instant IT and HR support to employees without waiting on service team members which was especially important in Jamf’s hybrid workforce model. The result: Over 70% employee adoption, reduced IT ticket volume, and faster response times.

Embedding an AI-ready culture

Understanding employee resistance, fears, and concerns over AI adoption, Lam founded and internal AI council to narrow use cases, address governance, and track the efficacy of the AI projects. More importantly, she also ensured to communicate and train employees on the true goals of AI that helped achieve tangible value from Jamf’s AI deployments.

Value-driven technology transformation:

During her tenure as CIO at Ellie Mae, Lam led large-scale technology transformations that helped improve service delivery and meet employee expectations of good internal service. She ensured that Ellie Mae's back-end systems are ready to support AI solutions while leading key tech initiatives like automating employee onboarding and offboarding, driving enterprise service management adoption, and migrating the corporate’s IT cloud to AWS.

CIO, Jamf

“I had to constantly ask, 'What value does this bring to Jamf?', and I soon ended up coming to the conclusion that less is often more when it comes to effective GenAI integration." Source

“We’re not trying to take the existing 20 people on our team down to 10. We’re trying instead to increase our delivery by 30% or 40% with the sameteam.” Source
